GAC BUSINESS STRATEGY Consolidate the Industry Rapidly acquire 2-3 well positioned, but undercapitalized dealers/distributors. We are in discussions with three companies distributing services from well-known airtime and location based companies. Grow Profitably Strong organic growth of the resulting entity through aggressive sales and marketing execution. We will also acquire more dealers once the base is growing profitably. Attract Strategic Capital Partner with strategic investor(s) and drive the company toward well-timed liquidity event(s), that could include a private / trade sale or public market events including an IPO or reverse merger. | Global Assent Corporation (GAC) was formed in 2007, to capitalize on the exploding location based industry, also known as “Telematics”, by aggressively expanding into the market for global asset tracking. Telematics combines the physical location of an asset with other vital information, such as tank level (for fuel tanks), speed (for vehicles), daily catch weight (for fishery vessels), heading (for inbound ships), engine operating hours (for heavy equipment), etc.. The combination of location with vital information allows immediate decisions to be made at the lowest possible implementation cost – providing immediate ROI never before available to business and government decision-makers. The Telematics service has three components: - A monitoring / communications device (hardware) is attached to the asset and generates the Telematics information;
- The Telematics information is sent via a communications provider (cellular, radio, or satellite airtime vendor)
- The Telematics information is decoded and stored in a central database for mapping, tracking, alerting, and reporting. GAC will buy and resell hardware, access the communications, and operate the information services.
Currently, the industry is highly fragmented and consists of many small, under-capitalized hardware vendors (typically focused on a single industry or geography) and a few airtime communications companies. This spells tremendous opportunity for GAC.
